BVS-P Virtual Library for Health Professions - Piedmont

The Virtual Library for Health Professions - Piedmont (BVS-P) was established in 2009; its main purposes are to offer free and homogeneous access to the best findings available in the literature for staff operating in the Regional Health Authorities (ASR) and in the Regional Environmental Protection Agency (ARPA), thus guaranteeing an effective clinical governance tool, professional development and research support.

To allow all employees and holders of roles and Partnerships at the Regional Health Authorities to use electronic periodicals and databases that are useful for their activities, in a homogeneous way. The portal provides a wide catalogue of resources that can be consulted, subject to registration, at www.bvspiemonte.it.

The BVS-P supplies journals, e-books and databases through its portal to the holders of roles and partnerships, but does not replace the library services of the University of Turin and the University of Eastern Piedmont, which remain the point of reference for staff of the Piedmont Universities.

Most of the electronic resources made available on the BVS-P portal are also available from our University, but there are others that you can access exclusively from the BVS-P portal, for example:
