Elective educational activity (EEA)

These are educational activities, chosen by the student, which can be carried out with lectures, seminars, refresher courses and conferences, interactive courses in small groups, uncoordinated activities or activities connected in "homogeneous educational paths", among which the student exercises his/her personal option, gaining up to a total number of 8 ECTS.

Elective activities also include elective internships carried out in research laboratories, in both Italian and foreign clinical departments, not necessarily under university management, and in clinics of doctors affiliated with the National Health Service. Those carried out outside the degree programme are not considered among the elective activities (for example, volunteering in welfare associations, first aid, etc.), and do not earn credits.
