Additional Educational Obligations (OFA)
Degree course Degree in Professional Health Education
Please note: students admitted to the degree course with any score lower than the pass marks here below will be assigned Additional Educational Obligations to be completed within the first year of the course.
Specifically, for the degree in Professional Healthcare Education, there are compulsory courses for students who do not achieve 10 points in Biology, 7 points in Chemistry and 4 points in Mathematics and Physics.
To satisfy the additional remedial requirements, students must (after activating their university email account) visit the DIR platform to follow the online lessons and take another test.
To access the DIR platform, visit the website www.dir.uniupo.it and log in with your university email credentials (username: enrolmentnumber@studenti.uniupo.it and password to be defined during registration process). On the DIR platform, there is a course "Additional Educational Requirements” (Obblighi Formativi Aggiuntivi) where you should register to follow the video lessons.
The eligibility test for a single subject appears automatically when all the video lessons of that subject have been viewed. The test consists of an online questionnaire with 10 questions. Success in the test (at least 6 correct answers out of 10) is communicated at the end. Once the test has been passed, the student must still register for the nearest OFA session on the online exam noticeboard, so as to allow the result to be recorded by the course chair.
The video lessons, test, eligibility and final approval are separate for each of the three subjects: Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics and Physics.
The OFA remedial credits will be recorded separately in the student’s transcript booklet.
For queries or more information on the teaching content, attendance, tests and approval of eligibility, write to ofa.ps@med.uniupo.it
